What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI is seeking an experience individual to manage multiple work elements and several employees in Dahlgren, VA supporting NSWCDD. Project Manager will be based in King George, VA. Candidates with current/active Secret-level clearance preferred.

MUST have STEM degree and combat system experience.

More About the Role:

  • Qualified candidates will have experience in managing computer engineering projects, excellent communication skills, excellent writing skills, excellent customer interfacing, and complex financial management capability.

  • The position requires estimating, planning, overseeing, and reporting of tasking, acquisition and management of staff to achieve customer objectives, and ensuring funding availability for multiple concurrent technical projects.

  • Projects are software or system engineering efforts for real time deterministic combat systems spanning computing infrastructure development, cyber security, computer program performance analysis, verification, and testing, and program management support for Naval exercises.

  • Experience with monitoring and reporting Navy Capital working funded contracts/task order performance status and metrics, financial coordination and reporting, and the coordination of issuing and closing of Task/Delivery Orders is desired.

  • This includes: leading and managing a large scale, Enterprise level, combat system development organization, including system engineering, design, development, unit testing, integration testing, verification and validation and deployment.

  • Candidate will have earned a (BS) Degree in an engineering, computer science, mathematics or physical sciences discipline, have 10 years general combat system experience and 7 years specific experience with surface combat systems.

  • Successful candidates will have experience with proposal development and briefing large audiences. Candidate must possess a Secret security clearance.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Math, Computer Science or Engineering field.

  • 10 years Combat System Development Experience.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance. (US Citizenship is required in order to obtain a security clearance from the DoD.)

  • Commitment to work on CACI and government sites (minimal telework).

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Active Secret-level clearance.

  • Software Engineering background.

  • Cyber Engineering background.
