POWDR Sous Chef - Clubhouse in Killington, Vermont

Assist Executive Chef in supervision of culinary staff for production, preparation, cooking and presentation of food. Essential Duties: * Ensure consistency and quality standards, productivity standards, cost controls, and forecast needs. * Culinary and leadership talents required for personally performing tasks while leading the staff and managing all food related functions. * Adhere to all standards and regulations set by Killington/Pico and the State of Vermont's Board of Health. Includes compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards. * Communicate with the Executive Chef regarding any new menu selections and changes. * Assume the responsibilities of the Executive Chef in his/her absence. * Formal culinary arts training (preferred). Three to five years of professional cooking experience or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. * Professional knowledge and skills in food preparation, cooking and presentation; knife skills, food and it's characteristics * Motivate and lead your team in the correct procedures and follow through. * Ability to deal effectively with a variety of company personnel, outside vendors and guests. * Flexible schedule a must.
