Hours Part-time, include requirement and total hours per week - not to exceed 19.5 hours per week

Summary of Position

The person performing this job will provide comprehensive instruction in office-related and/or technology-related courses, equipping students with the necessary knowledge and skills for successful careers in office administration. This position involves developing and delivering engaging coursework, evaluating student progress, and fostering partnerships with healthcare industry professionals to ensure students receive a well-rounded education that combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience.

Minimum Required Education

Associates Degree from a nationally, regionally or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education required; bachelor’s degree preferred

Minimum Required Experience

Associate’s degree: five years wage-earning work experience exclusive of teaching required.

Bachelor’s degree: three years wage-earning work experience exclusive of teaching required.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of:

  1. office procedures, systems, and technology, including Microsoft Office Suite and other industry-standard software applications.

  2. office equipment such as printers, scanners, and projectors.

  3. communication techniques, including written and oral communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.

  4. industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in office administration and management.

Skills to:

  1. engage students and facilitate learning.

  2. solve problems and think critically.

  3. operate and troubleshoot office equipment and software applications.

  4. Organize and manage time and administrative tasks.

Ability to:

  1. develop and update curriculum to reflect current industry standards and best practices.

  2. assess student progress and provide feedback to support their growth and success.

  3. collaborate with colleagues, industry professionals, and students to create a supportive learning environment.

  4. stay current with advancements in office technology and management practices.
