KBR Sr. Information Security Officer/Engineer in Kihei, Hawaii

Title:

Sr. Information Security Officer/Engineer

KBR is seeking a Sr ISSE/ISSM to join our team in Kihei, HI to provide advice and assistance to the Government regarding secure configuration and operation of the client’s IT assets.

Responsibilities:

  • ISSO responsibilities include: conducts risk management framework (RMF) assessment and authorization activities of current and future systems;

  • mitigates and eradicates malicious activity; applies knowledge and experience with standard information systems security concepts, practices, and procedures; implements common information systems security practices, policies and technologies; prepares reports on the status of security safeguards applied to computer systems; gathers pertinent security documentation and artifacts for inclusion into system authorization packages.

Required Experience:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science a plus, but not required for the job.

  • 8-10 years' of experience in developing and implementing Intrusion Detection Systems and firewalls.

    Minimum Qualifications:

  • DoD IAT Level 1 or IASAE Level 1

    Desired Qualifications:

  • Windows Server experience

  • DoD IAT Level 3

  • IASAE Level 3

    Clearance required : Secret - TS/SCI desired
