Title:

Mid-Level System Engineer

KBR is seeking a Mid-Level System Engineer to join our team in Kihei, HI.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply sound engineering concepts and principles. Provide technical support for all phases of system requirements development, conducting independent technical analyses, evaluation, and assessment of system requirements, requirements development, documentation, and verification. Develop systems engineering plans.

  • Establishes and manages digital representations of the system’s technical baselines using Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE)/SysML and various modeling and simulation tools.

  • Establishes a technical foundation to create on-ramps to rapidly integrate new capabilities, develop program descriptions/plans, and establish integrated roadmaps in support of program priorities.

  • Reviews and prioritizes customer requirements and analyzing project costs and feasibility

  • Develop systems analysis and methodologies consistent with technical requirements and review recommendations for systems improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • B.S. in STEM or related field

Desired Qualifications:

  • MBSE/SysML

  • Lasers

  • Fiber splicing

  • Adaptive optics

  • CAD

  • Controls theory

    Clearance required:

  • TS/SCI
