We have an opportunity come up within our Kewdale facility, for experienced and reliable Workshop Technician who will be engaged in carrying out the service and repair work to customer and company owned Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP), Telehandlers and Lighting Towers in the workshop within the state of art Kewdale facility.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Evaluating performance of equipment

  • Inspecting designs and finished products for compliance with specifications

  • Installing, testing, repairing and modifying electronic and hydraulic equipment

  • Conducting pre delivery inspections and assessing machines to ensure they are in good working order

  • Conduct three monthly and annual inspections of machines in accordance with JLG and Australian industry standards

  • Assist with the training and supervision of Apprentices

  • Generating sales and service leads where possible and collaborating with the team.

  • General ad-hoc duties as required

Key skills, experience and qualifications required:

  • Trade qualification – Automotive, Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Mechanic

  • Proven experience in Automotive or Heavy Machinery Mechanics

  • Experience in Elevated Work Platforms or similar highly desirable

  • Valid & currents driver’s licence
