Shift Overview

This position is currently available for 2nd shift.

2nd Shift: Monday – Friday 3PM to 11PM with paid lunch, voluntary overtime after shift.

Essential Functions

  • Efficiently performs manual labor requiring the use of hand torches, grinders, scrapers, chipping equipment to remove cutting slag, burrs, or weld spatter.

  • Will truck, handle or position materials.

  • Every employee is expected to:

  • Complete all required paperwork including labor reporting and material movement.

  • Work safely and maintain the work area with high standards of housekeeping.

  • Perform self-inspection and other required quality control functions at the employee's workstation.

  • Perform required Preventive Maintenance activities on machinery and/or equipment operated.

  • Train and/or assist in the development of personnel.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervision.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent education.

  • Able to read and write with average mechanical skills.

  • Lifting requirements:

  • Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Lifting devices are available and recommended.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior work experience, specifically in a manufacturing environment.
