A Day in the Life

Your main tasks and responsibilities include, you:

• Troubleshoot and improve processes, focused on unburdening our manufacturing-, inspection- and warehouse teams.

• Apply and support deployment of our Medtronic Performance System (MPS), thereby optimizing reliability, productivity, throughput times, compliance and safety.

• Develop and practice effective Tier management from a process improvement perspective.

• Execute Value Stream Analyses and Zero Loss initiatives.

• Provide hands-on support - troubleshooting and structural improvement.

• Implement process automation and digitization.

• Apply data analysis and implement data visualization.

• Lead and execute improvement projects and workshops.

Must Haves

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering

• 5 to 7 years of work experience in similar roles in a production environment

• Intrinsic Lean Six Sigma commitment with a proven track record of continuous improvement and achieving outstanding performance across an industrial value chain

• Expertise in developing and visualizing data-driven Performance Management structures

• Demonstrable successes in driving change and transformation in a multidisciplinary organization

• Project Leadership Skills: exceed expectations and deliver on Time

• Strong proficiency in Dutch and English (oral and written)

• Willingness to incidentally (< 5%) travel internationally to other Medtronic locations

Nice to Haves

• Basic knowledge of production technology, discrete manufacturing and manual assembly processes

• Affinity with the medical devices industry

• Preferably a Lean Six Sigma green or black belt and some knowledge of process automation and digitization

• Good documenting, reporting, and presentation skills

• Extensive knowledge of Office 365 and business intelligence reporting tools (e.g. Power BI)
