Job Description

• Complete training and perform material testing, chemical analysis, and inspection according to instructions to validate production processes and materials per qualified areas

• Document characterization of the non-conformity for MRB disposition.

• Maintain proper inventory of lab consumables

• Perform level 1 preventive maintenance of lab equipment to meet the maintenance schedule.

• Participate in quality training. Assisting in the training of new employees to the standard.

• Submit and support continuous improvement ideas in order to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.

• Involved in the analysis of anomalies detected. Ability to provide problem characterization (5W2H) and utilization of basic tools such as 5 why.

• Team member/ active participation in Level 1 QRQC (QRAP, Escallation, etc) in applicable area.

• Maintaining the 5S in laboratory per the defined standard.

• Perform other related duties as required

• Perform duties requiring kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 20 pounds periodically

• Work in/near electro-magnetic fields created by high temperature induction furnaces.

• Vocal communication, hearing, and visual acuity are required for safety, direction, and the exchange of ideas in the industrial environment
