We have (2) locations: Lima and Kenton.  We have been in business for 24+ years.  We service and install: residential HVAC equipment, commercial, ductwork, whole house generators, gas lines, whole house installation/repair of electrical service, whole house installation/repair of plumbing, air quality, etc.

*Valid Driver's License required

*Previous HVAC, electrical, or plumbing experience preferred

*Willing to work at either location

*Willing to be on the on-call 24 hr rotation (does not apply to installers)

 

We are looking for HVAC Service Technicians with the following preferred skills: knowledge of furnace diagnostic skills, air conditioning and heat pump diagnostic and repair skills, reading and interpreting wiring diagrams

  • Maintaining good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems as well as various testing equipment
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks and warranty work to ensure the efficient and safe operation of HVAC systems
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting system malfunctions, then performing the appropriate HVAC system repairs
  • Recharging refrigerant levels, checking for leaks, and ensuring the refrigerant cycle is functioning correctly in air conditioning, and refrigeration systems
  • Performing energy-efficiency upgrades, like installing smart thermostats or sealing ducts
  • Explaining maintenance procedures to customers and providing recommendations for system upgrades or replacements
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and service calls
  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of how residential heaters, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment operate and function
  • Solid communication and excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient in reading schematics, blueprints, and work plans
  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems
  • Reading technical diagrams and blueprints
  • Performing general electrical maintenance
  • Inspecting transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components
  • Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
  • Repairing and replacing equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures
  • Following National Electrical Code state and local building regulations
  • Performing circuit breaker corrective maintenance
  • Installing, maintaining and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures
  • Cutting and assembling gas line piping, pvc piping, fittings, and fixtures
  • Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance Run load bank tests on natural gas and propane home stand-by generators
  • Diagnose and repair any issues found during initial testing
  • Perform voltage changes on generators based on customer requirements
  • Re-wire, adjust and install control panels and voltage regulators
  • Adjust speed controls and various settings
  • Change filters and perform standard service on generators
  • GED or high school diploma
