Conagra Team Lead 1st shift in Kent, Washington

Shift: This role is 1st Shift, 5:30 AM-2:00 PM

Hourly Rate: $25.50 an hour

We are hiring for Team Leader on our 1st shift.

You will report to the shift supervisor and join a team of 235 plus team members.

You will work onsite at our Food manufacturing plant is in Kent WA.

  • Monitor production to ensure that quality, productivity, and cost standards are maintained

  • Will rotate to all positions of a Packaging Associate

  • Provide employee training to ensure that employees are performing job responsibilities.

  • Enforce plant rules, regulations and procedures

  • Help support plant and company safety programs, promoting a high level of awareness and adherence to defined employee safety requirements such as lock-out/tag-out, personal protective equipment, confined space entry

  • Must understand safety/food safety (SQF) /Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.

  • Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action

  • Read and answer emails

  • Provide team breaks and lunches.

  • Complete daily required line tasks

  • Daily SAP tasks

  • Understand losses on the line and provide possible solutions to the issues

  • Ensure all appropriate paperwork is filled out and up to date (examples: Centerline deviation forms, changeover critiques, DDs handoff sheet.

  • Regular and predictable attendance.

  • Flexibility to overtime to meet production deadlines

  • Must follow plant work standards, high quality and productivity standards per plant requirements

  • Meet internal and external customer expectations through teamwork, respect and willingness to help and support others

  • Hold team members and self-accountable for all actions to include time keeping

  • Improve performance and work process through feedback, risk taking, and generating new ideas1-2 years of food manufacturing experience required.

  • Leadership experience required.
