KYFS is hiring Class Aides in our Early Learning program. This position works with the teaching team to provide comprehensive learning experiences for children that will help them develop in an appropriate manner, based upon age and developmental stage. And helps to enhance the parent's role as the principal influence on the child's education and development.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • CDA, Early Childhood Education, (ECE) certificate or degree perferred plus one-year experience in an early childhood setting; OR
  • High School Diploma or GED, plus one-year experience in an early childhood setting preferred;
  • Current and former Head Start/ECEAP parents received preference for employment vacancies of which they are equally qualified.

``` - Completion of a successful criminal history and fingerprinting background check. - Complete initial health examination, including TB screening as recommended by health care provider. - Obtain First Aid, Infant/Child CPR card and a Food Handler's permit within 90 days of hire and keep current.

  JOB TYPE/SCHEDULE: Part-Time, M-F, up to 20 hrs. per week depending on work schedule.
