Overview

The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for performing general warehouse duties.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Must possess a valid driver's license

• No experience required and on the job training provided

• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

• One (1) year of similar work experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Perform shipping and receiving duties

• Document incoming and outgoing items

• Keep a tidy and organized work area

• Maintain stock of shop supplies

• Load and unload materials to and from designated storage areas

• Verify documented counts against physical counts of stock

• Receive and fill orders or prepare supplies for sale

• Install protective devices to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported

• Drive truck or forklift to pick up incoming stock or deliver materials

• Pickup and deliver customer equipment, shop supplies, parts, etc.

• Perform facility janitorial and maintenance duties (change light bulbs, remove trash, communicate work orders, etc.)

A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
