Actalent Operations Supervisor in Kenosha, Wisconsin

Description:

This individual will provide leadership and overall direction to an operations team, including execution of the production schedule, management of planned and unplanned events, performance management and positive employee/labor relations as it relates to beverage/sauce production.

• Lead team activities to ensure manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner according to specification.

• Effectively train, develop, coach and appraise team members.

• Develop, monitor and report on operating measures including general business, quality, safety, operator performance, equipment, etc. Ensure effective results.

• Coordinate daily scheduling of the crews.

• Develop, coordinate and oversee paperwork flow of the beverage/sauce processes.

Skills:

HACCP, blending, Production supervision, Supervisory skills, Production management, Lean manufacturing, union experience, SQF, Food Safety

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3 plus years of Supervisor or Leadership experience from within a Manufacturing Environment.

  • 3 plus years of GMP/Food Manufacturing experience

  • Strong leadership skills being able to develop staff and articulate how to put staff on performance improvement plans if needed.

  • Previous experience supervising 20 - 30 employees over multiple lines and areas within a manufacturing facility.

  • Blending experience is a huge plus but not required.

Looking for a hands on leader who enjoys working on the floor training and developing staff. A proactive leader who optimizes processes and develop workers to get better results and produce a quality product.
