In this role you will: * Analyze inventory and supply chain data, use methods to predict and improve delivery of products to customers, while optimizing inventory utilization. * Identify and define complex business problems utilizing data to drive future inventory and supply chain business strategies. * Develop business models and high-quality prediction systems, leveraging machine learning algorithms and artificial intelligence tools to prioritize various improvement models for implementation. * Define and monitor success metrics to drive the greatest results for business improvement strategies. Responsibilities * Lead all data experiments for the Industrial business. * Provide previously undiscovered solutions to both data and operational challenges. * Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, resource allocation, SG&A reduction, and inventory efficiency. * Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities to leverage both company and external data to drive business solutions. * Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, identify areas for improvement. * Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques. * Develop custom data models, machine learning algorithms, and AI to apply to data sets. * Develop processes, testing techniques and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and accuracy. * Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes. * Act as liaison between Industrial and Corporate I/T for development of business requirements for various systems and reports. * Perform all other tasks as assigned by management.
