Here's what you'd do: Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions. Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 1 year experience in Mechanical Assembly and Cable Harness Minimum of 2 years experience in wire harness build and routing. Minimum of 2 years experience in assembling lasers or complex optical systems. Minimum of 2 years experience in handling fiber and fiber splicing equipment. Minimum of 2 years experience working with, power electronics, RF, and digital circuits. Minimum of 2 years experience in electronics or optics Preferred Skills / Qualifications: IPC-A-610 IPC-J-STD IPC-WHMA-A-620 Familiarity with electrical systems and circuit boards. Ability to prototype, test, and debug electronics or optical components IPC solder certification Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
