ENSTAR Natural Gas Temporary Gas Storage Plant Helper in Kenai, Alaska

JOB SUMMARY:Under the supervision of the CINGSA Operations personnel; assists with the operation and maintenance of the CINGSA facility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Perform general housekeeping duties within station buildings, wellpad, and yard area. Assist with maintenance of pipeline facilities and gas compressors as required. Under supervision - install operate, maintain, repair, overhaul, and test a wide variety of industrial equipment used in the natural gas transmission industry. Under supervision perform atmospheric corrosion and exposed metal inspections. Clean and paint exposed piping as required. Keep records; make verbal and written reports of work performed. Ability to understand and follow directions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. Continuing education preferred. Must possess a valid Alaska Driver's License and be qualified to operate a vehicle under the conditions of the ENSTAR's Driving Policy. Ability to pass a drug, background, past employment, and driving record screening.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Ability to safely use of a wide variety of hand and power tools as related to field and shop work; and safe work practices.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must maintain a positive work atmosphere through effective interactions and communications with co-workers, customers and management. Must maintain a safe environment for co-workers, customers and the public through adherence to established safety standards and timely reporting of potential hazards. Must adhere to ENSTAR's policies and procedures related to the code of business ethics, compliance, responsible use of Company assets, and all applicable state and federal laws.
