Job Description Pay rates between $19.00-23.50with Attendance Premium of $0.25 and Shift Premiums of $1.50 and $1.00 for hours worked during swing and night shifts. Essential Job Functions Set up machines prior to shift start-up, attend to the operation of these machines, and adjust as necessary for changes due to production type. Attend to and adjust machines during operation to ensure product flow through the machines. Monitor machines for any mis-cuts of product due to improper settings. Notify Maintenance Supervision of any machine malfunctions or required repairs. Maintain excellent housekeeping and assist other plant personnel in various areas of the plant as needed. Assist maintenance in repairs and overhauls. 90% - Attend to the operation of machines and equipment (e.g. leg processors, wrappers, CFS, PACMAC, STORK lines and DAYPAC) making required changes, adjustments and notifications as needed. 10% - additional functions to include assisting in other areas of the plant as required. Maintain safety, housekeeping, sanitation, and disease control requirements while performing job duties. Help maintain and improve quality and food safety to ensure compliance with company quality standards and USDA regulatory requirements. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervision. Qualifications Basic mechanical aptitude, understanding, and ability to use mechanical type tools, such as wrenches and screw drivers. Must be self-motivated and able to work in a wet and cool environment with minimal supervision. Must have a demonstrated history of dependability, particularly with regard tosafety and attendance. Must be physically capable to perform job duties including, but not limited to lifting film rolls and containers weighting 50-80 lbs. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time (8-12 hours) on a concrete/metal grate floor. Repetitive grasping, pushing, pulling, hand motion, and twisting. Must be willing and able to work various shifts, overtime, non-standard work hours. Must submit resume for consideration.
