As a PARC Housekeeping Manager, you are a caretaker of this vision – responsible for liaising with the General Manager to ensure departmental goals, objectives, budgets, policies and procedures are maintained to company standards and supervising designated employees in all aspects of housekeeping.

This role also includes:

  • Directing the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping department. Staffing, scheduling, training and providing coaching, guidance, and support to all direct reports (Housekeepers/Night Housekeepers).

  • Maintaining, controlling & distributing appropriate inventory supplies for operational needs.

  • Liaising with Building Services Supervisor for the repair or replacement of all housekeeping equipment when required.

  • Liaising with General Manager regarding departmental goals, objectives & budgets.

  • Cleaning and sanitizing suites, bathrooms, kitchens, floors and common areas including hallways, washrooms, and staff room according to a pre-set schedule.

  • Ensuring housekeeping room, equipment and carts are kept in a clean, safe and sanitary condition and replenishing housekeeping carts regularly.

  • Managing cleaning chemicals safely.

  • Providing excellent customer service during all resident and guest interactions, handling any inquiries and insisting with requests, as appropriate.

  • High school diploma together with a minimum of 3-years relevant experience in the hotel or senior living industry in similar position, completion of the WHMIS program, and you are able to read, write and effectively communicate in English.
