Bensonwood Homes Structural Engineer (EIT) in Keene, New Hampshire
As a Structural Engineer (EIT) on our team you will be responsible for upholding our engineering standards for our sustainable residential and commercial structures.

Position Summary
Participate in the planning, design, and production of engineering drawings and/or supervise the production of these drawings.
Attend site visits with clients, architects, and subcontractors.
Conduct engineering investigations and planning work including the collection and analysis of data using established procedures, performance of routine calculations, and participation in evaluating the feasibility of alternate solutions.
While our principle structural medium is wood, both solid-sawn and engineered timber, you will also be responsible for the engineering of concrete, steel and other building materials as needed for our projects.
Work with our in-house design team, as well as outside architects.
Perform engineering calculations.
Perform field observations of construction where appropriate.
Qualifications
BS/MS in related Engineering Field
2+ years’ experience as a Structural/Architectural Engineer
Experienced in CAD programs
Expertise in sustainable design and building.
Expertise in providing consultative style service.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Positive, team player that thrives in a fast-moving environment.
Compensation & Benefits
