This job posting is for 20 temporary full time positions.

A versatile individual who will be able to handle multiple roles, including secondary water meter installation and manhole collar installation. In this role, the employee will primarily focus on installing secondary water meters, which includes digging up the old connection, installing a new meter pit and the actual meter, and restoring the landscape to its original state. The employee will also be expected to assist in the installation, repair, and upkeep of manhole collars, ensuring that they meet safety standards and regulations. Training will be provided on the installation process, as well as on the safety standards and regulations surrounding both manhole collars and secondary water meters. Education is not required and previous experience is perferred but not required - on job training will be provided to the worker. Over time will be available and is  paid at 1.5X Additionaly, a single workweek will be the standard for computing wages and will be paid bi-weekly. We (the employer) will make all deductions from the workers paycheck required by law. No other deductions will occur.

We will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence  from the place of recruitment to the place of work if you complete 50% of the work (the work is from October 2024 - October 2025). The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts." We (the employer) will reimburse the worker for the workst cost of return transportation and daily subsistence from the place of employment to the place from which the worker departed to work for the employer. The employer will also reimburse the worker in the first workweek for all visas, visa processes, border crossing, and other related fees included those mandated by the government incurred by the worker. 

 

The employer will provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned.

 

The general location for this project will be in the Kaysville - Weber country area. A work vehicle will be provided to get to and from work if needed. 

Pay is $22.37 an hour.
