Queen's Health System Radiologic/CT Technologist - 2023 Top 20 Critical Access Hospital, Full-Time Day (MOLOKAI GENERAL HOSPITAL) in Kaunakakai, Hawaii

RESPONSIBILITIES

Seeking a full-time Imaging professional with Radiology and CT experience to join our rural healthcare facility. I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for performing a variety of radiologic and CT procedures. Ensures examinations/procedures are performed with proper patient positioning, imaging techniques, exposure factors, and immobilization methods. Ensures patient safety, provides patient comfort, and instructs patients during examination/procedures.

II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Essential functions- Seeing, hearing, speaking, standing, walking, stooping/bending, reaching above, at and below shoulder level, finger dexterity, frequent gripping of an object.

III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS

Inside work, extreme heat and cold, noise and/or vibration.

IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A. Education/Certification and Licensure:

  1. Current Hawaii State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.

  2. Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

  3. In depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology to be able to communicate effectively with medical staff.

  4. Current BLS/HCP certification.

B. Experience:

  1. One (1) year experience as a Radiologic CT Technologist in an acute care facility preferred.
