Watershed Security Senior Information Security Analyst in Kauai, Hawaii

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Sr. Information Security Analyst will be responsible for Identifying potential information and network or internet security vulnerabilities. Designing and implementing information security standards for applications and databases. Conducting analysis, investigations, and recommendations regarding security technologies. Ensures site security and provide consultation on security issues while staying abreast of current malware and other potential internet security threats.

  QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Ten (10) years of Information Security, System Administrator or Cybersecurity experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and demonstrated experience processing packages through the Navy’s Risk Management Framework Process

  • Demonstrated experience in assessing systems using NIST 800-53 and/or DISA STIGS and SRGs

  • Demonstrated efficiency and experience in RMF package development, including POA&Ms (mitigation statements), Security Plans, Risk Assessments, system/site policies, procedures, and processes, architecture diagrams, and hardware/software inventories.

  • Demonstrated experience with eMASS, ACAS and VRAM

  • Demonstrated excellent customer service and organization skills

  • DoD 8570 IAM II certification

  • Active Secret security clearance

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products to include Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

    Responsibilities of this position also include, but are not limited to:

  • Attending mandatory, annual training sessions

  • Providing regular status reports to management summarizing progress, challenges, metrics, and recommendations

  • Collaborating with team members to ensure effective communication and coordination

  • Attending recurring team meetings or huddles

  • Assisting in the development of new initiatives
