Regional Administrative Assistant

A proud member of the Elevance Health family of companies, Paragon Healthcare brings over 20 years in providing life-saving and life-giving infusible and injectable drug therapies through our specialty pharmacies, our infusion centers, and the home setting.

Location : This position will be based at our Katy, TX Infusion Center with the expectation to travel to our Houston area centers for coverage as needed. This is a full time, float position.

Work Schedule : Full-time, Monday - Friday; 8am - 5pm or 7am – 7pm depending on location.

The Regional Administrative Assistant is responsible for overseeing patient check-in, registration, and checkout.

How you will make an impact :

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversees staff and processes for check-in, verifying charts are pulled for scheduled appointments, demographics/eligibility is updated, and current forms are being utilized.

  • Listens and responds to patient and/or family members concerns.

  • Responds to patient questions and complaints, routes issues to appropriate personnel.

  • Analyzes daily administrative operations and utilization of resources.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Requires a HS diploma.

  • Minimum of 1 year of lead/supervisory experience in a health care environment; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences :

  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

  • Previous experience in a medical office setting.

  • Previous infusion experience.

  • Experience with authorizations and insurance.

  • Availability to travel to our Houston area locations.
