Software Quality Assurance Engineer (QA)

The Challenge:

Main focus of Software Quality Assurance Engineer (QA) will be to work with a scrum team to ensure we provide good quality features and integrations of existing software for IC Packaging industry as well as maintain and improve testing environment and tests.

What are my daily responsibilities?

  • Assure software quality according to project requirements

  • Creating test plans for new and evolving functionalities for later automation purposes

  • Design, create and maintain automated tests to check the functionality of the application

  • Troubleshooting automation tests issues, analyze results

  • Preparing automation scripts to handle the installation and setup of the software

  • Develop, document and maintain automation test infrastructure

  • Participate in test code reviews, provide guidance to your peers

  • Conduct manual test for new and evolving functionalities

  • Participate in product design

  • Collaborate within and outside your Agile team in an international environment

  • Grow professionally together with your teammates

What do you need to realize what matters?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline

  • Experience in automated testing

  • Knowledge of scripting, programming languages like Python, Tcl, etc

  • Background in Testing/Quality Assurance processes and procedures

  • Knowledge and experience on Windows and Linux operating systems

  • Analytical skills, including an understanding of basic data structures and algorithms

  • Solid communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share your knowledge with others

  • Proficient English language skills that enhance communication with your foreign colleagues

  • Basic knowledge of the PCB (printed circuit board) design process is a plus
