Grace Pacific LLC Materials Admin Supervisor in Kapolei, Hawaii

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

  • Assists the Mangers with overall responsibility for the profitability, productivity and maintenance of all quarry facilities and related equipment and resources.
  • Provides assistance with monitoring and controlling quarry operating cost, preparing budget/forecasts/reports. Assist with the management of inventories and maintaining proper balance for continued operations.
  • Works with Quarry Managers and EHS to ensure administrative compliance with dust control, water usage and other environmental and safety regulations (ie: clean air and storm water permit).
  • Manages MSHA and ATF compliance and maintenance
  • Manages material inventory that includes production, sales, incoming and physical survey.
  • Manages Quarry and HMA Plant admins and all dispatchers Statewide.
  • Provides assistance and oversight to ensure through proper documentation and appropriate feedback that performance of all department personnel including union, scale house, supervisory and administrative staff meets department standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Promotes awareness of and follows Company and general safety policies.
  • Exhibits a core understanding of mutual respect and good customer service orientation in interactions with all people in the workplace.

PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS:

EducationCollege degree OR

Experience2years of proven progressively responsible experience in quarry and/or construction production/management.

Computer SkillsWorking knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, Email. Adaptable to in-house software which may include specialized software for aggregate production flow and blasting simulation. Keyboarding skills sufficient to complete tasks in a timely manner.

MathAbility to use math functions to produce budgets and other financial reports as requested.

ReadingMust be able to read and understand financial reports, legal documents and technical material.

LicensesType 3 driver's license and favorable traffic abstract. Blasting license helpful.

OtherExcellent interpersonal skills to ensure effective internal and external communications.

Current knowledge of MSHA requirements.

Knowledge of blasting materials and techniques helpful.

Must be at least 21 years of age.
