Job Description

In collaboration and under the direction of a licensed Registered Nurse and participation in a clinical education program, provides care to patients in an acute care setting. Performs technical skills in accordance with the level of education and clinical training provided through University Health. Completes duties in a manner consistent with established nursing standards of practice and the mission of University Health.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • BCLS certification completed within 30 days of hire; certification must be kept current for continued employment

  • Ability to read and complete necessary documentation legibly.

  • Completes all competency training and education within 90 days of hire
