What you'll do... :

JOB SUMMARY

Provide technical expertise to design, develop, and maintain software components and products that support H&R Block business applications. Create high and component-level design architecture documentation. Propose product design features to support scalability, usability, and better performance. Analyze user requirements and define functional specifications. Create new modules and extend existing modules of multi-tiered applications using C#. Develop front-end of web-based applications. Develop stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views using T-SQL. Lead multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis efforts to uncover the best .Net solutions. Conduct code reviews with developers. Develop and implement test validations of the applications. Mentor and coach other team members.

What you'll bring to the team... :

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.

Five years of IT experience to include:

  • Agile methodologies.

  • .Net Solutions, SQL Server, ADO.Net, JavaScript, and VBScript.

  • Entity Framework, MVC Framework, and GUI.

  • Web application front-end with C#, ASP.Net, Angular, Typescript, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, and HTML.

  • REST APIs and Web Services.

  • Stored procedures using T-SQL.

Three years of this experience must include:

  • Iterative, Scrum, and Waterfall.

  • SOA based WCF services.

  • LINQ to SQL, and infrastructure as code using Terraform.

  • Azure SQL, Azure AD, Azure Redis, Azure Service Bus, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure AppServices, Azure Functions, and SignalR.

  • AngularJS and Ajax.

  • CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GIT, Maven and Jenkins.

  • Code quality control using SonarQube.

  • Create unit tests using MSTest and XUnit.

  • Generate PGP and SSH Key Pairs for file encryption.
