Actalent Senior Mechanical Designer in Kansas City, Missouri

Job Title: Mechanical Piping Designer

This is a full-time on-site Piping Designer role in Kansas City, MO. The Piping Designer will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with piping design, plant layout, and piping systems. The role involves using computer-aided design (CAD) to create drawings and models of piping systems in accordance with project specifications and standards.

Skills

MUST have power generation experience

  • Smart Plant 3D - AutoCAD experience

  • Experience in Piping Design, Plant Layout, and Piping

  • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD)

  • Ability to develop designs for piping systems and equipment in compliance with industry codes, standards, and customer requirements

  • Ability to evaluate piping systems and equipment performance and provide recommendations for improvements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Piping Design and Engineering

    • Piping Design for energy and industrial clients with relevant experience in the energy sector
