System One SAP Finance Specialist in Kansas City, Missouri

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The FS-Per/E-HANA Functional Specialist is accountable for gathering, understanding, and documenting business processes within the FS-Per system. They will use their business relationships and creative design skills to drive the solution and organizational change. They will also document requirements and specifications needed to design, recommend and implement solutions to improve those processes. They will develop solutions based on multiple technology platforms that will enable the organization to achieve its goals. They will also utilize industry best practices to ensure deployability, scalability and supportability of those solutions in a growing organization. They will be responsible for deliverables to facilitate project delivery using the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and deliverables within the Project Management Office (PMO). They will also be responsible for the maintenance and support of existing solutions as well as newly delivered ones.

PURPOSE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead troubleshooting of incidents or defects that arise in FS-Per/PAPM and ensure a timely resolution. Ensure that all stakeholders are updated on progress as well.

  • Complete application service requests, provide continual business application support, research transactional issues, identify root causes as well as assist with upgrade and maintenance of FS-Per/PAPM.

  • Understand business issues and opportunities. Analyze and define both the “As Is” and “To Be” business processes and perform gap analysis.

  • Coordinate diverse groups who contribute to business requirements and build consensus for requirements across the various user groups

  • Perform data analysis to understand how data impacts solutions.

  • Create Functional Specifications and perform system configuration of FS-Per/PAPM

  • Develop diagrams and models (use case, activity diagram, business process models, etc.) and clearly document functional requirements and business rules to describe what the system, process, or product/service must do in order to fulfill the business and user requirements.

  • Complete testing of existing and new solutions for projects, upgrades, incident fixes, and application service requests

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of system implementation experience in FS-Per/PAPM and E-HANA.

  • 4+ years of project delivery experience. Ideally with a full lifecycle project delivery in FS-Per/PAPM or E-HANA modelling

  • Proven experience with SAP solutions including Business Planning and Consolidations (BPC), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP-ERP systems (ECC or S4) is an asset.
