We have a job opportunity available for an Ramp Supervisor located at the MCI airport in Kansas City, MO. The Kansas City Airport is a premier location in the Kansas City. The position of Ramp Supervisor is perfect for someone who is looking for new and exciting tasks each day; who communicates well both verbally and via email; who embraces the challenge of training others; who is flexible when necessary but knows how to enforce policy and procedure to ensure a safe and productive work environment; who is hands-on, decisive, organized and able to manage both tasks and people.

As a valued member of the PrimeFlight team, you will provide prompt and efficient service to our cargo clients:

  • Gain a mastery of PrimeFlight ramp procedures, including aircraft guidance and cargo operations, and protocols for safety and cleanliness

  • Set schedules to ensure adequate coverage of all work areas

  • Communicate regularly with the PrimeFlight Station Management about staffing, scheduling, and procedures

  • Recruit, Coach, Counsel and Participating in Discipline hourly employees

  • Monitor workers to ensure a safe working environment and verify that PrimeFlight regulations are followed

  • Establish procedures to maximize worker efficiency and quality control

  • Attention to detail

  • Able to supervise workers, maintain sign-in sheets, and participate in disciplinary procedures

  • Demonstrate regular, predictable attendance at the job location

  • Exceed PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards

  • Carry out other duties as assigned

Certificates and Licenses:

Valid state driver’s license with a verifiable safe vehicle operating record.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Supervise shifts and workers as directed by the Station Management.
