Oculus Health Medical Receptionist in Kansas City, Missouri

We’re hiring a Medical Receptionist to help enroll patients into preventative and chronic care programs for a primary care practice in Kansas City, MO. You’ll bring your experience working with patients and providers to help assist them as they transition to using the Connected Clinic solution.

Our Medical Receptionist will be trained on the online platform to onboard patients on our platform along with their devices and monitor their vitals readings. Additionally, they will be available to perform some patient outreach and provide support to the clinical staff when needed. You will play an essential role in changing these patients and help them avoid severe chronic condition progression. If desired, there will be opportunity to make an impact on the chronic care curriculum, workflows, and solution development. This position mostly does require physical presence in the office. Preferred candidates should live in the Kansas CIty area and are expected to have availability to check in with practice as necessary.


  • 3+ years of experience in cardiology practice or primary care practice (preferred)

  • 1+ years experience supporting an implementation (preferably in a healthcare setting)

  • Experience in remote monitoring or virtual care management program

  • Ability to provide high quality customer service

  • Computer literacy, comfortable learning and using digital health portal and video calls

  • Access to high-speed internet at home


This position is a contract to hire - after 90 days of contractor status, you are eligible to become an employee based on your performance
