The General Maintenance Repair Worker performs various maintenance services and repairs in several skills areas, which include: plumbing, carpentry, machine servicing, electrical repairs, installations, and vehicle servicing.

Scheduled Days: Monday through Friday.

Start Time: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Hourly Rate Range: Up to $23.15

Performs all work within established safety standards; is responsible for managing own work and works around others with utmost adherence to good safety practices avoiding injury, damage, and/or cost to the company.

Works with vendors to provide needed services, with appropriate approvals and within established time and budget parameters.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.

3-5 years of experience, preferably in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Warehouse.

Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Normal physical mobility, which includes movement from place-to-place on the job taking distances and speed into account. Normal physical agility, which includes the ability to maneuver body while in place. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, bend, reach, twist, and lift. Normal physical strength to handle and/or move objects up to 75 pounds, taking frequency into consideration. Normal dexterity of hands and fingers. Normal coordination, including eye-hand and hand-foot. Normal endurance to complete the essential functions of the position.

Work Environment:

The work is typically active and physical in nature and requires normal accessibility to all work sites required of the position. The position may require extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays. The position is typically working in areas where air conditioning is unavailable and may be exposed to chemicals that are routinely present in the Companys warehouse facilities.
