Job Information

ASM Global Box Office Coordinator in Kansas City, Missouri

Box Office Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the Ticket Office Team and communicating effectively with internal and external customers. This position will also provide superior service to customers and guests with general T-Mobile Center information (i.e., ticket purchases, upcoming events, ticket availability, event selection, and general parking information).

Essential Duties:

  • Assist customers with general T-Mobile Center information (e.g., event availability, pricing, seat selection and scheduling; general parking information, etc.) in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Provide support to box office management as needed including daily Reports, Maps, Price Sheets, and any other needs to Box Office staff.

  • Answer general Box Office phone line and assist customers with ticket purchases using T-Mobile Center’s ticket software (AXS and Ticketmaster).

  • Interact in a professional manner when dealing with staff, vendors and various internal and external customers.

  • Accurately reconcile all sales and Will Call receipts.

  • Distribute Will Call tickets to customers for various events.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications (Job Knowledge, Skills, and Education):

  • A minimum education level: High School Diploma or its equivalency

  • Minimum a year of related work experience.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of service and attention to detail..

  • Demonstrated ability to accurately and efficiently deal with large quantities of cash or payment methods such as credit cards, checks, and money orders.

  • Commitment and willingness to provide excellent customer service.

  • Experience in effectively managing conflict resolution.

  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills and experience.

  • Able and willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and some holidays.

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position at least 75 percent of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a venue or live entertainment.
