Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Set-Up CNC Machinist for a local Flathead Valley company!Work schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMResponsibilities:The primary function of the Machinist Level 2 Setup Machinist is to setup a job (parts) on CNC Machine/s and to ensure the parts are in “compliance” per the drawing and manufacturing inspection plan. First priority is “setting up” parts/components on the CNC Machines per the work order and set-up sheets. It is the Machinist Level 2 Setup Machinist’s responsibility to communicate with his/her “mirror” co-worker (on the other shift) to ensure parts are running well, and the paper work is proper order ONCE the part has been set-up and confirmed a “in-tolerance part”.Inspect parts per manufacturing inspection plan (MIP) and accurately record all results on the MIP document as parts come off the CNC’s. It is the responsibility of the Operator to use proper inspection tools, methods, and protocol when inspecting parts/components. Communication with the Shop Floor Manager, Production Manager, or Programmer (when necessary) and Compliance Specialist is an expectation when running the initial set-up and ultimately production parts.Tag and document all nonconformance parts per the AS9100 procedures/work instructions. Keep shop floor clean and professional.
