Job Title: Service Dispatcher

  • This role manages the logistics and efficiency of our US field service dispatching process, with the continued focus on quality, location, cost, and spare part supply.

  • All efforts within this role are focused on our ability to support customers quickly, with cost avoidance. You’ll be responsible for more than just coordinating our field team. You’ll drive positive experiences by focusing on our top priority: our customers.

  • You will also work with a variety of stakeholders in a dynamic organization to make a positive impact in the healthcare industry. In this service role, you are a crucial piece to delivering on our mission of enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

    Location: This role will sit in Kalamazoo, MI and works on a hybrid schedule reporting into the office Tuesdays-Thursdays.

What you will do:

  • Dispatch US field work orders and coordinates field activity to ensure efficient, productive use of available manpower.

  • Identify critical path decisions, recommendations and influence programs to deliver effective solutions and maximize field service efficiency.

  • Monitor daily workloads to ensure on-time performance of assigned work.

  • Monitor and provide input on training needs for technicians and third party proficiency.

  • Manage ServiceMax reports and dashboards for the dispatching function, as well as ancillary processes like monitoring part order availability to ensure maximum field service efficiency.

  • Monitor and make recommendations for part usage, trends, and unnecessary cost due to inefficiencies.

  • Collaborate closely with field management to make weekly plans and pivots as necessary.

  • Provide feedback to Management, Quality, Planning, and Logistics when applicable.

  • Interface closely with sales, service, and management to ensure customer satisfaction is maximized.

  • Positively represent Epredia at all times throughout customer locations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in the healthcare or service industry.

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business management, technology or equivalent work experience is preferred.

  • ServiceMax and SalesForce experience a plus.
