Kalamazoo County Government Lead IT Systems Analyst - ERP in Kalamazoo, Michigan

GENERAL SUMMARY

To support and facilitate existing and future infrastructure of Tyler Munis ERP while using the best business practices to improve and enhance the scalability and functionality of county Information technology solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plans and manages ERP projects using the most efficient technology and resources to identify the best technical solutions to meet project milestones; maintains project documentation.
  • Acts as liaison to vendors; collaborates and communicates technical ideas.
  • Provides mentorship, support, and professional development; acts as subject matter expert; troubleshoots and resolves system issues.
  • Manages ERP stability and security, implements change requests, applies updates, and documents modifications to applications/modules.
  • Designs, develops, engineers, and implements solutions that adhere to security requirements; develops and maintains a comprehensive information security program.
  • Ensures proper monitoring of business-critical systems; provides data center and applications support; provides scheduled updates of mission-critical outages.
  • Identifies and implements technical innovation and process improvement opportunities.
  • Perform related work as required.

* MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS*

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Finance or Human Resource Management or a related field
  • 5 to 7 years of related work experience in HRIS, Financial or ERP Systems
  • Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.
