REPORTS TO : Marketing Director

POSITION TYPE: Full-time

PAY: $13.00 hourly base plus commission ($40,000 + annually)

We are seeking candidates with a positive, upbeat personality who will work well both individually and as a member of a team. Excellent phone skills are required. If you are a "people person" and are looking for the opportunity to grow your customer service skills in a fast-paced professional environment, this is the job for you!

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Business Development Representative will intercept and route incoming calls as well as work with prospects via phone and e-mail to bring service opportunities into the dealership. This position requires a driven, customer service-minded individual who can communicate effectively.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to read, speak and write English in order fulfill job functions in an understandable way - Bi-lingual folks encouraged to apply!

  • Ability to operate a computer and telephone system - Be prepared for a ton of phone calls

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • High school diploma

  • High level of optimism - Make that first impression count!

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Schedule inbound service calls using the established company scripts and training - Then you'll have the tools needed to provide excellent customer service!

  • Make outbound service calls to prospect and schedule service appointments

  • Log all activity in customer relationship management software - Don't want to forget who you already talked to!

  • Follow up on missed appointments and perform quality-assurance follow up calls

  • Staff the reception desk according to the scheduled rotation

  • Positively work on a diverse team - We may not always get along, but kindness and respect are non-negotiables!

  • Speak clearly on the telephone and convey an image of professionalism and competence to callers

  • Professional personal appearance

  • Communicate messages to the appropriate parties in a timely manner

  • All other duties as assigned - Can't forget about this one!

    PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Office environment

  • Sitting for several hours at one time

  • Ability to move within different departments at the dealership

  • Ability to work weekends - No Sundays though!
