Taplin Group, LLC Abatement - Senior Site Superintendent in Kalamazoo, Michigan

Prime on-site contact for projects who will oversee and coordinate all day-to-day aspects of the projects. Responsible for all on-site abatement activities with guidance from management may make decisions and/or commits resources to facilitate the successful implementation of each project. Responsible for abatement personnel to adhere to State and Federal Regulations for all abatement activities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and manage crews during abatement activities.
  • Ensure operational readiness of the crew and equipment. This includes conducting pre-operational checks on vehicles and equipment.
  • Ensure and enforce compliance with all applicable State and Federal Regulations and safety rules and polices required by customer and the company safety program.
  • Provide input for employee evaluations.
  • Inspect work in progress and completed work to ensure quality standards and customer expectations are met.
  • Ensure crews are provided with the necessary personal protection equipment.
  • Conduct project Job Safety Analysis safety meetings.
  • Responsible for conduct and actions of assigned crew.
  • Coordinate equipment and supply needs and issues with warehouse.
  • Maintain safety equipment while on a site.
  • Resolve on-the-job conflicts, obtaining guidance from management when needed.
  • Maintain job specific documentation including work logs, time records, etc.
  • Provide feedback to management personnel to assist in improving operational quality and efficiency.
