Reyes Holdings Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician A in Kahului, Hawaii

Join the Reyes Fleet Management team located at our Reyes Beverage Group / Island Distributing facility in Kahului on the island of Maui! You MUST be willing to travel to neighbor islands to support additional locations (company paid).

Position Responsibilities:

  • The Fleet Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of fleet diesel equipment, as well as the diagnostics and rebuilding of clutches and brake systems

  • As a Fleet Technician, you will complete thorough documentation for work orders related to repairs and preventative maintenance using the online Enterprise Asset Management system

  • You will operate a company vehicle to diagnose and repair equipment as part of roadside service calls

  • You will ensure that equipment has the required licensing and registration before being deemed "roadworthy"

  • You will install, replace, and repair onboard computers (XRS or XataNet) and/or cameras (DriveCam)

  • You will work in accordance with company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations to ensure safety

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 3 plus years of related experience

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Technical School Certification
