Amazon Program Manager, GO-AI PMO in KA, Indiana

Description

GO-AI team is seeking a internally driven, creative and passionate Program Manager to help achieve our vision to help applied scientists innovate with agility. We love to offer our customers world class experiences and we invite you to help Amazon make history.

The Program manager will have oversight of the customer program which involves machine learning pipeline with augmented learning services that GO-AI provides. This individual will have the ownership to drive new programs and manage existing programs for driving SLA driven metrics and customer satisfaction. The role includes assisting internal customers in all aspects of experimentation, validation of ideas, relationship development, delivery oversight and risk management in these programs.

Key job responsibilities

Go-AI PMO engage in a wide variety of projects for sister team and internal customers and are obsessed about strong success for the Customer. Our team collaborates across the entire Amazon Fulfilment Network (AFN) organization to bring access to annotation services to their teams, to get the right solution delivered and drive ML based innovation based upon customer needs. We are looking for someone who is passionate about:

• Assist internal customers in long term management of human augmentation in ML solutions

• Assisting internal customers in development of long term Strategy for ML based automation

• Identify & develop specific opportunities and supporting business cases

• Assisting internal customers in pilots and quick experimentation

• Planning and implementation of a portfolio of programs and initiatives, including deliverable responsibilities

• Mitigation of delivery risks & issues

• Overseeing delivery of programs ensuring high quality delivery

• Act as single person of contact for internal customer executives, developing deep, trustful relations

• Educate internal customers on ML annotation use cases and translate those into a clear value proposition

• Envision and inspire internal customers

• Collaborating with other support functions for win-win between teams and customers.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 7+ yrs of experience managing cross-functional projects and programs

  • Prior experience in a Program Management or Project Management role on a global scale

  • Previous experience supporting Machine Learning projects and exposure to AI/ML Applications

  • Having exposure to Business Transformation/Transition related projects

  • Demonstrated ability to work creatively and analytically in meeting customer needs.

  • A proven track record of managing global large-scale projects.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including group leadership and executive presentations.

  • Excellent problem-solving attitude and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Having prior experience in multinational organisations and/or Business conglomerates would be a plus

  • Experience with complex problem solving using Lean / Six Sigma techniques a plus

  • Independent and entrepreneurial style showing the ability to work with minimal direction in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

  • Managing executive Customer relationships and key business stakeholders.

  • Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or PMP Certification
