Laboratory Lead

Work Mode: Onsite

Location: JUÁREZ, NUEVO LEÓN

Opportunity

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES

As a leader of laboratory the main activities are support assurance of quality through gage calibration process for SFO Faucets, including CMM measures, calipers, salt chambers, x-ray etc. Input and analyze data after inspection. Communicate results and provide troubleshooting for measurement related issues. Performe laboratory test to ensure the specification of the finish good products.

TARGETS

Establish and implement consistant documentation

Solve problems related to improper measurement techniques

Schedule and coordinate calibration services and repairs with outside vendors

Perform maintainance on gages and electronic componants

Identify opportunities for improvement

Participate in FMEAs, Control Plan development, Gage R&Rs and other milestone events.

Performe finish good audits and first inspection audits

Conumicate the quality issues to the contraparts of the operation lines

Ensure contaiments and non confirming material identification

Develop new programs for CMM (coordinate measuring machine)

Absolute arm programing (Hexano preferred)

Metalurgical and Metrology experience

SKILL LEVEL

Must demonstrate a solid understanding of measurement techniques (Caliper, CMM, abosolute arm), quality systems, GD&T, drawing interpretation and manufacturing processes.This individual should have have strong organization, planning, and communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft office software and good computer skills is a key requirement for this position.

Skills/Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education and/or Experience:

Thecnical education degree is required; 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

An Internal audit Certification is strongly preferred. GD&T, polyworks and measurement systems. Preferred pcdmis hexagon.
