BASIC FUNCTION

Under the direct management of the SR Human Resource Manager, Plants, is responsible for the development and implementation of Human Resources processes in the Plant, and at the same time assist in the same way for the whole operation.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Develop strong relationships with associates and Union leadership by spending time on the manufacturing floor, working with managers, general supervisors, supervisors and developing a strong communications strategy.

2.Focus on retention, development, and succession of the operational workforce.

3.Critical action and execute cost-effective and timely development plans that result in improvement of the strength of the organizational operation work force.

4.Must be able to advise members on interpersonal relationships, career plans, development plans and corrective actions.

5.Drive activities and behaviors that are consistent with the organizational changes that need to be addressed.

6.Implementation and follow up of all Kohler policies regarding Human Resources.

7.Assisting the internal customer on his needs, taking into account the corporate human resources policies.

8.Serve as a link between the human resources organization and the workforce, becoming a representative of the company and at the same time an employee advocate.

9.Implement recognition and reward programs in order to continue to work on becoming the employer of choice and at the same time work on retention tools.

10.Measure the work environment in order to prevent problems among our workforce and between the workers and their supervisors.

11.Prepare and collect information to understand, analyze and solve HR related problems.

12.Participate in the solution of everyday HR related problems in the plant.

13.Coordinate and/or support sport events, integration events, services for personnel, transportation service, and other activities related to associates.

14.Create and maintain a respectful relationship with the union representatives.

15.Comply with the Health and Safety Roles and Responsibilities established for this position

RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS

Supervisory Relationships:

1.Reports to SR Human Resources Mgr., Plants Kohler Sanimex.

Organization Relationships:

•Frequent contact with Plant Manager, General Supervisors and Supervisors.

•Frequent contact with all factory personnel in Sanimex.

•Frequent contact with Union delegates

•Frequent contact with Recruitment

External Business Relationships:

•Frequent contact with Kohler Attorney

•Moderate contact with the Mexican Labor agencies.

•Moderate contact with vendors

Skills/Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree required, preference to those with major in Human Resources, Administration or experience.

EXPERIENCE: Preferred, minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, been 2 year with correlated performance as a business partner in a manufacturing operation.

FORMATION: Preference working Knowledge of Microsoft Windows based software applications. Bilingual skills preferred.
