As QC Technologist, you will handle QC status for all final products and raw materials by performing QC analysis with established Laboratory & Analytical Methods in compliance with Quality.

Your Focus

  • Carry out routine and non-routine quality control activities to ensure the full implementation of the applied quality systems policies and procedures

  • Test and inspect products at various stages of production process from raw material into finished goods to maintain quality of products and approve them as per agreed lead time

  • Perform sensory evaluation includes sniffing and tasting to ensure status of incoming materials released meet the customer requirements

  • Perform analytical tests utilizing analytical instrumentation using Densitometer, Refractometer, GC, GC-MS, Karl Fischer and etc

  • Perform data entry into SAP system

  • Maintain and carry out calibration for lab instrument as per routine procedure

  • Maintain and prepare SOP for QC testing in accordance with ISO 90001, 14001 and 45001 standards

  • Conduct investigation, troubleshooting and root cause analysis for OOS and non-conformity

  • Ensure good housekeeping and 6S in QC lab

  • Support and identify opportunity of improvements in lab/ plant

  • Other activities assigned by Supervisor/ Manager

Required Experience and Skills

  • Degree in Chemistry, Food Science or Chemical related courses.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in QC operation, preferably in similar industry

  • Good knowledge of GMP manufacturing processes

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Good team player
