NQAC (Nestle Quality Assurance Center) Singapore is situated within R&D Center and are part of the Food Safety network in Nestle. We are the competency center for contaminant analysis supporting the region of AOA (Asia-Oceania-Africa) by providing the highest quality food safety testing and playing a vital role in safeguarding food and beverage safety.
A day in the life of a Laboratory Support Technician…
Administration
Document controller for quality system
Provides administration and secretarial support
Fixed asset management for NQAC
In charge of managing facilities and be the contact point for any issues
Customer Service
Maintain and further develop website presence of NQAC (Intranet, Commercial Portal and Nestle SG site)
Generating quotes for analytical service (external customers)
Identifying and assessing customers’ needs to achieve customer satisfaction.
Issuance of analytical reports
Lab Support Service
Managing incoming calls and customer service enquiries
Procurement: request for quotation, generate PR, follow up on PO and order status.
Consumables management
Assist in sample handling (receipt, registration)
What will make you successful
Diploma and above in chemistry, biochemistry, food sciences, analytical sciences
Scientific curiosity and receptive for coaching
