Position Specific Description

This position provides strategic analytical support to ensure renewable projects are securely sourced, competitively priced and reliably built. Employees in this role will play a critical role in the major equipment sourcing and construction function to identify project and portfolio level risks, recommend mitigating actions, and recommend process and technology improvements. The ideal candidate will excel at identifying risks and mitigating actions, structuring analyses and modeling, identifying and building business cases for improvements, and develop executive-ready written communication to drive decisions.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis and modeling to optimize the sourcing and build strategy on various horizons and minimize risk

  • Identify potential supply chain partners and structuring agreements

  • Identify technology trends and new technologies and build business cases for pilots and deployment

  • Analyze policy (e.g. Inflation Reduction Act) to assess impact on supply chain, pricing, and construction

  • Interface with market experts and consultants

  • Conduct modeling and analysis to develop price forecasts, guide decision making, and recommend action

  • Develop data based guidance for accounting for risk in sourcing and pricing in project approvals

  • Identify and scope opportunities for the development of advanced modeling, technology, and automation

  • Support in the preparation of content for executive reviews

  • Strong experiance in trasnformation/analytics

  • Prefered Big 4 consulting experiance

  • Perform other job-related duties as needed

Job Overview

Employees in this position manage analysts in the performance of the financial forecasting and analysis efforts. Individuals develop strategies, processes, and policies for financial forecasting and oversee the budgeting efforts of one or more subsidiaries, group roll-ups, and or corporate functions.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages relationships with the budgeting and forecasting departments

  • Ensures that forecasting models are current and incorporate the required accurate data

  • Works with senior leadership on the formulation, execution, and communication of corporate strategies and financing plans based on financial forecast analysis

  • Supports other business units or departments in analyses as requested including Merger and Acquisition analyses

  • Develops presentations for Finance Committee and Rating Agency meetings as required

  • Prepares sensitive data and information for external disclosure

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Experience: 8+ years
