QUALITY CONSULTING GROUP, a leader in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, and manufacturing industry, is looking for a talented, highly motivated and enthusiastic to join our team. In this role, you’ll work with a highly enthusiastic team, contributing in a world-class manufacturing industry in Puerto Rico & USA.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for performing/providing calibration, repair, installation, troubleshooting, and documentation of instruments, process control systems, and equipment used in manufacturing, utility plants, and analytical labs. 

  • Perform basic calibrations of instruments on process and utility equipment.

  • Assist the team with maintaining an up-to-date working spare parts inventory system for the equipment/ systems the team is responsible for.

  • Ensure that calibration paperwork, instrument files and work order documentation is completed with accurate information.

  • Participate in a detailed training program in order to develop one's knowledge in the instrumentation field and other areas of the plant.

  • Assist in the development, revision, and updating of related SOPs for work related areas.6. Configure and repair microprocessor-based instruments and controllers.

  • Basic troubleshooting and repair of process control and laboratory instruments. All work must be completed in accordance with CFRs, cGMPs, SOPs, and client policies.

  • Perform regular certification of equipment to verify conformance to industry standards and client procedures. Maintain an up to date cGMP training book.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree 

  • Two (2) years of instrument experience

  • Instrument technician will be supporting manufacturing and maintenance activities related to client Master Production Schedule.

  • Support the new product introduction, execution of calibration PM, repair activities and troubleshooting equipment and system

  •  Knowledgeable of pneumatic, mechanical, and electronic instrumentation

  • Non-Standard Shift
