Title:

Condition Monitoring Technician (Steam Traps)

Uses predictive and preventive maintenance software, applications, and data collection instruments to identify machines with possible problems. Uses advanced multi-channel and phase vibration signal analysis for root cause failure and machine fault troubleshooting. Sets up and implements predictive maintenance data collection routes for vibration, infrared, lubrication, and electric motor monitoring. Coordinates transfer of machine repair recommendations and action items to and from the site's computerized maintenance management system. Reviews quality of analysis performed by other technicians. Requires training in reliability centered maintenance, advanced machine vibration analysis, and tribology.

  • Minimum 8 years of experiences in vibrations and condition monitoring in similar industry

  • Solid verbal and written communication skills with a good command of the English language, both oral and written.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and other related ‘condition monitoring software’.

  • Working knowledge of rotating equipment repair standards and best practices is an asset.

  • Familiar with Reliability programs.
