Job Description

Job Summary & Essential Functions: Supports plant operations by performing various physical and transactional requirements involving material and supplies both on an incoming and outgoing basis. HOURS: 10:00a - 6:30p

Essential Functions

· Read and follow documentation and work instructions

· Data collection and record keeping as necessary

· Package finished goods per customer requirements for appropriate shipping

· Complete computer transactions including issuing, receiving and returning items to stock

· Pull/Kit parts using pick sheets, stock requisitions, DR’s, short tickets, etc.

· Locate/acquire bulk material/records from warehouse/stock

· Transport material (including chemicals) or records

· Perform counts on a cycle or incoming basis

· Spool or cut wire/tubings/conduit etc. and package into kits

· Use of hand tools including, scissors, utility knives, tape machines, wire cutters, banding tools, tape measure, etc.

· Use of equipment including computers, fork truck, pallet jack, dollies, copy machines, weight count scale, spooler, company vehicle, etc.

· Support and cooperate with other coworkers to achieve the desired goals of the department and/or company.

· Run errands to the bank, post office or other locations

· Load and unload trucks

· Use FedEx, UPS and/or other online logistical systems

· Abilty to use judgement with limited problem solving when needed

· Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area.
