  • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Education

  • High School graduate or equivalent. Satisfactorily completes on the job training.

  • Experience

  • Experience and knowledge of medical terminology or completion of medical terminology class. Experience and knowledge of PC use.

  • Physical

  • Responsible for performing receptionist and clerical duties and to assist in the operations management of the surgery department. Highly motivated and self directed ability to respond quickly both physically and mentally. Ability to see, hear, read and speak 100% of the time. Ability to focus attention and concentrate on several tasks at once. Requires exposure to biological, mechanical, electrical and chemical hazards. Frequent sitting. Occasional standing, walking and bending. Lifting up to 100 lbs carrying up to 40 lbs, pushing, pulling up to 150lbs.

  • JOB SUMMARY

  • Processing actual usage update. Batches patient charges and sends to MIS department. Assists in scheduling cases and reports as needed. Performs daily chart audit reviews. Works with ORIC to maintain current inventory and resources. Maintains, updates and creates inventory resources and instruments on surgeon and hospital pref. cards. Check rejects in Meditech daily. Update pricing in Meditech and obtain new CDM numbers if necessary from price updates sent from Purchasing.
